Job Description
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.
The position will be responsible for:
- performing daily accounting functions including account receivable and payable, staff reimbursement and journal voucher preparation;
- assisting in monthly account closing and reconciliation;
- preparing the monthly financial reports to highlight areas of risks and opportunities for management review in a timely manner;
- assisting the finance manager in compiling financial analysis, performing ERP set-up and establishing operational workflows; and
- supporting other ad hoc duties for the management as and when required.
The ideal candidate should:
- be a qualified accountant or in the final stage of qualification with a recognised university degree in finance, accounting or equivalent;
- have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably gained in a multinational/large organisation;
- preferably have a good understanding of and be familiar with the public sector in Hong Kong
- be a team player with good knowledge in ERP systems, financial modelling, business controls and management reporting;
- be well-versed in Excel and Powerpoint capabilities; and
- be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
