Overall Purpose of the Role

Lead the finance team in all financial activities incorporating management and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax and treasury planning and compliance to make sure financial integrity and transparency. Offer advises from a finance perspective, to value add in terms of improving operational efficiency and lead transformation projects

Accountabilities – Key Result Areas

• , tax planning, budgeting, treasury management, strategic business planning, capital investment, analyze and evaluate business performance
• Analyze and assess current business processes, workflows, & transactional activities in developing, recommending, & directing effective strategies in all business areas including inventories, accounts receivable, selling prices, product costing, operating expenses, profitability, fraud prevention
• Develop and direct all feasibility studies & financial analysis in support of business negotiations of self-owned shops, market development, office rentals, etc
• Advise on and dealing with high-level tax issues, ensuring smooth corporate finance & accounting functions in HK and China in compliance with local statutory requirements
• Oversee the whole financial reporting process, group consolidation, month end close activities to ensure timely submission of business results in quality manner and compliance with all accounting policy and procedures.
• Drive annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Responsible for corporate treasury management, and assist business investment evaluations
• Work closely with other BU teams for operational projects and provide advice from finance perspective
• Partner with senior finance leadership to understand current state business processes and identify a robust continuous improvement projects. Lead system implementations & enhancements

Experience / Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above of Accounting / Business / Finance and a qualified member of one of the major accounting bodies
• At least 15-18 years of working experience in similar capacity, with a minimum of 5-8 years in a leadership position dealing with senior stakeholders.
• Able to formulate complex financial analysis and skills to convey complex finance concept to management or key stakeholders are essential
• Able to adapt to business change and work in dynamic business environment
• Able to build cross-functional relationships, influence and interact with all levels in the organization.
• Able to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Experience in ERP software, having SAP system will have an added advantage.
