Our client is a sizeable and well-known company that holds a diverse portfolio of restaurants, supermarkets, health and beauty, and other businesses in the APAC region. They are looking for CPA-qualified candidates with extensive AP experience and some system implementation exposure to join their large family,

Description

• Lead the accounts payable (AP) team to ensure that the overall AP performance is meeting targets
• Review monthly payments (vendors' payments)
• Prepare month-end closing and relevant schedules for group consolidation
• Liaising with external parties, including banks, auditors & tax authorities
• Assist in reviewing, optimizing and implementation of AP process to enhance productivity
• Lead the system implementation process
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and assessing internal controls related to company accounting and financial reporting systems
• Maintain internal financial control disciplines as well as ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks to be assigned by management

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or a related discipline
• Professional qualification of HKICPA or ACCA
• Solid experience in account payable function in the retail or FMCG industry
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, good team player
