An exciting opportunity with a prestige private club in seeking for a Financial Controller (Head of Finance role) in supporting the General Manager in safeguarding the interest of the members and status in Hong Kong. The most suitable candidate should have a background in the hospitality, F&B, retail or hotel sectors.

My client is an well known private club based in Hong Kong, they have a long history of success and is a highly regarded organisation in the industry. The club is under a renowned hotel empire.

Description

• Support the General Manager as a finance business partner and take ownership of the finance team in the daily accounting operations
• Along with the team responsible for monthly and yearly accounts closing, review and vertify all annual, financial, management statutory reports
• Lead the annual budgeting and regular forecast process, and monitor KPIs
• Analyse the financial results and provide regular updates to the relevant stakeholders
• Control the operating costs of different business units of the organisation
• Ensure output are in compliance with all relevant regulations and taxation ordinances

Profile

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or a relevant discipline
• At least 15 years of relevant accounting experience in total
• Candidates with experience in the hospitality, hotel, F&B, private club sectors will be a plus
• Comfortable in working in a multi national culture
• Strong command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excellent analytical skill with strong attention to details
• Demonstrate strong leadership to mentoring the current team
