Job Description
Role Mission:
You will be an essential team member of the Branch Operation Controllership function in Finance & Governance Centre aims at driving strong governance by improving branch operation efficiency and internal control.
This role would provide operational support and advice on proper policy and procedure, compliance and financial impact and take the lead on branch operations process enhancement and contribute to finance transformation projects.
What’ll you own:
- Be the subject matter expert of the branch operations with strong internal control input and actively support management with key branch processes to ensure compliance of the company guidance
- Formulate, evaluate and roll out the jewellery retail branch level risk management, compliance and internal control framework
- Compile and maintain the branch finance and control manual
- Conduct periodic review of the above mentioned framework and control manual and leading the branch operation process efficiency and control enhancement
- Address new business strategic requests affecting the workflow of branch finance operation and need for developing relating control procedures
- Assist in implementing branch operation related system projects and coordinate User Acceptance Test
- Follow up of the front line control weakness investigation and workflow improvement
- Involve with implementation of the finance transformation agenda including but not limited to develop use cases, conduct training, and implement system and process change relating to branch operation
- Manage administrative works of financial control workflow
Who’ll thrive:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Accounting / Finance
- A min. of 4 years or above retail operations experience with knowledge in POS system
- Experience in retail industry / jewellery retail industry preferred
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. and Chinese word processing
- Knowledge in Power BI, QlikView and/or other related tools preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical mindset, detail oriented
- Customer-oriented, self-motivated, detailed-minded, and positive thinking
- Able to work independently and also as a good team player
