Job Description
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts and related financial statements and accounting schedules including account receivable, accounts payable, lease accounting, construction in progress, capital commitment and fixed asset registers monitoring and maintenance
- Handle inter-company transactions for fund transfer and payment
- Work with the external auditors to ensure proper accounting records and financial reporting standards are complied
- Responsible for all tax returns and other statutory records
- Prepare management and financial reports and analyze the financial results
- Liaison with bankers, government bureaus, auditor and corporate secretaries
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
- Qualified accountant preferred
- Audit experience with sound knowledge of HKFRS and HKAS preferred
- 10 or more years’ accounting/auditing experience in commercial setting with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail-minded and good team player
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Demonstration of extensive experience would be considered for Accounting Officer position.
Candidates with less experience demonstrating will only be considered for Assistant Accounting Officer position.
