Job Description

· Control the month-end closing process

· Review the financial reports under the Group Ordinance and Insurance Companies Ordinance in a prompt and professional manner

· Put together the quarterly and annual statutory filings to regulators

· Handle Ad hoc requests from the Group and other duties assigned by manager

· Support the IFRS 17 system change project and fast close project

The Successful Applicant

· Accounting degree holders

· Hold a professional qualification in recognized accounting bodies

· At least 5 years working experience in financial accounting industry

· Working experience in life insurance companies or audit firms is preferable

· Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese

· Pay attention to detail and can handle work-related stress

· Scrupulous and willing to work overtime

· Work in an organized and systematic manner

· Capable and committed deal with tight deadlines

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Oracle and Hyperion is preferable

· Knowledge in IFRS 17, RBC and insurance company's financial statement
