This leading International Bank is looking for seasoned professional to join their business sit within the Strategic Planning and Stress Testing (SPST) team which is situated within the Asia Pacific Finance function. You will be reporting directly to the Regional Head and covering APAC. Great remuneration package and fringe benefits will be provided.

As the Head of Strategic Planning and Stress Testing in a leading International Bank, your key responsibility will be to:
- Be responsible to lead the delivery of stress test exercises in APAC region as well as supporting other required Strategic Planning and Stress Testing activities
- Steer the planning of resources, process flow and schedule together with other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the activities that meet regulators’ expectation and compliance with internal guidelines
- Drive the stress test process streamlining and standardization, eliminating complexity and duplication of effort, and stay informed of all regulatory and industry development related to stress test
- Run processes in an auditable and transparent manner, and explain processes to Internal Audit and to regulators, and address issues where identified
- Engage with Group, regional and country functions and co-ordination of regional instructions for core processes. Coordinate any regulatory engagement as it relates to stress test
- Identify, mitigate and resolve and prepare Basis of Prep document for the stress test exercises performed (e.g. assumptions, model, data), in an effective and collaborative manner
- Assist the preparation of reports to Risk, Business, senior management, regulators, other relevant stakeholders
- Be accountable for Scenario Analysis and Delivery team workforce planning, ensure available resources are optimally employed to drive effective and efficient outcomes
- Support further development of capabilities in the countries to drive local stress test activities that meets regulators’ expectation and Group’s standard
requirements.
- Degree holder with at least 12 years banking experience, focusing on Strategic Planning and Stress Testing
- Proven leadership and relationship management skills in dealing with different levels, with the confidence to interact with senior management and make measured decisions
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environment; and proven ability in handling competing priorities and continuously look at ways to improve processes
- Strong influencing, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), planning and organisation skills
- Proven experience in managing large scale projects and co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale organization
