My client is one of the internationally renowned insurance companies, looking for a self-motivated and high-calibre candidate to support the core finance processes across management information and planning, ledger closing and financial reporting.

Duties:

• Develop and maintain an end-to-end understanding of the core finance processes
• Manage to handle finance projects and develop insurance product knowledge and capacity to learn and support on IFRS 17 accounting entries or process
• Plan, design and execute UAT and update the documentation for the changes
• Ensure the finance-related processes and system impacts are adequately understood by relevant stakeholders; in the meantime make sure the finance requirements are met by the deadlines

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with at least 6 years' work experience in financial services sector, preferably in insurance industry
• Less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
• Solid knowledge of insurance products / finance systems / major system components of the insurance business
• Proven track record of project management is preferred, with good sense of business acumen
