Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support on credit control activities including monitor and control DFO, minimize debt outstanding and overdue AR balance for East Asia Region
- Engage with Business Groups to structure the contractual terms and conditions for prompt payment
- Conduct and review of credit check to evaluate client creditworthiness
- Maintain proper records of client data for evaluating client regional risk exposure
- Prepare monthly KPI reports including cash receipts forecast, bad debt, DFO, and debt analysis
- Prepare and review of reminder letters
- Liaise with Legal team and Business Groups to agree on strategies for debt recovery
- Support on system implementation and standardized credit control processes across the region
- Motivate and develop individuals within the team appropriately
- Provide support on activities involved month-end and year-end closing
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- At least 7 years of billing and credit control experience gained from MNC environment, preferably within APAC region
- Mature, proactive, independent with good communication skills
- Well organized, self-starter, strong sense of responsibility, strong analytical mind and teamwork oriented
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with JD Edwards is a plus
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is preferred
Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Credit Analyst.
