Our client is a medium size cap property developer listed on HKEX and they are seeking for a Financial Controller cum named Company Secretary to join their team. This position will be reporting to the Chairman.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for whole HK finance controlling to comply with listing requirement
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial budgets, submit to top management for discussion;
• Prepare annual reports and interim reports in accordance with relevant accounting standard and other external reporting requirements in compliance with HK Listing Rules;
• Liaise with external parties, including SFC, HKEX, investors, bankers, lawyers, auditors, PR firms and other professional parties; 
• Assist company secretary works under HK Listing Rules includes prepare announcements and circulars and assisting in coordinating the M&A activities;
• Establish and review corporate financial accounting and internal control policies for the Group and ongoing monitor the effectiveness of such policies; and
• Handle HR and administrative matter in HK office includes MPF, employee contracts and organizational chart update, etc.

Requirements:

• 10 - 15 years experience as a senior Finance leader role in a HK Listed company
• Experience working in a property developer highly preferred
• Excellent spoken Mandarin and Cantonese
• Must be a pro-active self-starter with drive, enthusiasm and tenacity, possessing excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Will need to be visible with the confidence to encourage and challenge senior management
• Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills and experience
• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills are a prerequisite for the role
• Ability to work under pressure and cope with the high and varied workloads.
