Our client, is a leading multinational law firm is seeking for a Finance Manager to execute All-rounded Finance Controlling within APAC regions. This is a newly created opportunity and this person will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller based in Hong Kong

Job Description

• Handle completion of monthly management reports, variance analysis and schedules, etc. on a timely basis for Hong Kong, Singapore and PRC
• Oversee daily AP process from Invoice input to payment - Handle annual auditing, profits tax filing, law society reporting and other tax reporting in Hong Kong, Singapore and PRC
• Support the compliance with all statutory regulations and audit and tax requirements - Liaise with overseas offices on interoffice expenses and recharges
• Prepare cash flow forecasts for Head office and local management
• Direct and coordinate planning and preparation of forecast and annual budget
• Supervise daily operations of finance department
• To provide on-going improvements to the finance operation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency;
• To coach and develop subordinates’ skill sets on daily operations, as well as to manage the team in solving work-related issues; and
• Perform any ad hoc projects / assignments as requested
• Assist working capital managers with monitoring of billing and AR levels and involvement with clients/fee earners where necessary
• Liaise with IT department on any accounting system issues as well as assisting in development/testing of IT related reports
• Working with Billing team on efficiency of processes and assisting on system changes/difficulties involved with head office

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related discipline
• Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA)
• At least 7 years of total accounting experience - Seeking for candidates with Big 4 training then moved to in house commercial
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin a plus)
• Good communication skills, Independent, and able to meet tight schedules
