Job Description
Financial Control - Asset, Liability and Capital Management Department
Hang Seng's Financial Control function works closely with the Bank's stakeholders, including business partners, shareholders, regulators and external examiners. We function as their accountants and business partners in providing comprehensive information on financial management, financial planning, financial reporting and compliance, capital planning and reporting, financial control & SOX control, tax advisory, insurance finance, and treasury and investment finance.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Liquidity Risk Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Assist in the review and formulation of Asset and Liability Management related policies / reports including ILAAP, Liquidity Contingency Plan, Funds Transfer Pricing Policy else
- Perform regular or ad hoc liquidity risks analysis and stress testing. Identify and assess the liquidity impacts as well as the key driver of the stress testing results.
- Prepare liquidity risk reports to ALCO and senior management in timely manner and investigate significant exposure changes and limit excess.
- Liaise with different parties on data sourcing and support management on both regular and ad hoc projects / assignments
- Follow up audit issue and report status to senior management.
- Cooperate with different parties on provision of useful and timely management information.
- Contribute ideas on process streamlining and enhancement and devise action plans accordingly
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related disciplines
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, HKICPA or CFA
- 5 - 10 years’ related experience in banking
- Strong Leadership with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound analytical and financial skills
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
