We are currently looking for fund accounting/administration associate(s) who will be a core member of our Fund Service team in Hong Kong. The associate will work on a variety of fund accounting, financial reporting, and tax administration matters.

Primary responsibilities:

• Prepare Fund fee calculations (management fees, capital call amounts, distribution amounts, carried interest and waterfall) and verifying that calculations are in accordance with the Fund Incorporation documents;
• Perform fund expenses management;
• Prepare and maintain investor static data;
• Prepare investor capital and distribution calculation and related notices;
• Prepare ad-hoc requests regarding fund and investor specific reports as well as analysis;
• Prepare fund’s monthly/quarterly and annual financial reports;
• Prepare SPV accounting;
• Understand and assist clients with other reporting, such as FATCA, K1 etc.;
• Prepare fund compliance reports, such as FAR form;
• Assist with fund data curation and analysis;
• Support business process change efforts, including automation and strengthening of internal controls;

Qualifications:

Linnovate Partner seeks an intelligent, articulate, and capable professional. We seek a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Recent college graduate that demonstrates exceptional potential; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar concentration.
• 2-3 years of fund accounting or relevant experience is an asset (Candidate with more PE Fund experience will be considered as Senior Fund Accountant/ Assistant Manager position.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including managing and analyzing accounting data using excel formulas; experience building Excel macros is an asset to this position. 
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, reliable, and proactive.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Personal qualities compatible with a collegial and collaborative culture.
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels, both inside and outside the firm with highest level of integrity and ethic
