This Manager – Client Accounting job is vital role for the business, and you will be responsible for working with your own portfolio of key client work.

Your New Job

Working in this Manager – Client Accounting job, the responsibilities of the role will grow and adapt to changing needs and demands, however below are the core duties of the role, which is not exhaustive;

• Handle client’s accounting issues and resolve issues independently
• Responsible for the services rendered to the company’s clients on a day-to-day basis and ensure smooth operations
• Strengthen the relationship with clients and develop new business
• Work closely with the senior manager to make service proposals to existing and new clients
• Supervise and review team members’ work to ensure the accuracy of client deliverables
• Lead a team of accountants, being responsible for their professional and technical development
• Liaise and coordinate with external professionals, such as auditors
• Participate in ad hoc projects assigned by senior management
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures

As is to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team, and to work with the business to deliver on projects, and tasks. As such, there are a few key skills which an applicant should demonstrate an understanding, and working knowledge of;

•          Degree in Accounting or related discipline
•          HKICPA member or equivalent
•          Good experience of handling accounting entries and preparing a full set of accounts
•          At least 7 years’ experience in accounting
•          Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
•          Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a good command of written and spoken English

This will be an office based role. In addition, it would be beneficial if you were, or can demonstrate

•          Knowledge of Accounting Software, Quickbooks
•          Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be an advantage
•          Demonstrating a good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
