Responsibilities

1.       Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
2.       Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
3.       Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
4.       Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
5.       Understand expense accounts and cost centers
6.       Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
7.       Responsible for receiving, processing and verifying invoices.
8.       Will perform audits of all batches that have been keyed/processed into MDS to assure for accuracy

Requirement and Skills

1.       Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
2.       Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
3.       Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
4.       Data entry skills along, hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
5.       Proficiency in English and in MS Office
6.       High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
7.       Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
8.       Self-initiative, independent, responsible and willing to work under pressure.
