A UK MNC is currently seeking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for daily AR, AP and necessary bookkeeping in the company in the Hong Kong office. The successful applicant will be offered great MNC exposure and attractive bonus package.

Client Details

Our client is a UK Retail Company who is expanding their business in APAC. They have over 20 years of history with 5 offices across the globe. They are now seeking for a new Assistant Accountant to work in a fast-pace environment to cope with their future business development plan.

Description

• Responsible for full set of accounting
• Perform daily AR, AP and general accounting operations
• Assist in handling month-end closing
• Ac-hoc assignments as required

Profile

• Bachelor or above in Accountancy or equivalent
• Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications) is highly preferable
• At least 3 years or above relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Patient, initiative, detail oriented, positive mind & strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently, well-organised and good time management in a fast-paced environment to meet a tight deadline
• Good analytical skills and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (familiar with excel) and accounting software, SAP experience is preferable
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Accountant
• Candidate with immediate availability is highly preferred
