Our client is one of the  private, independent international schools with an enrolment of over 1,800 students representing 43 nationalities. Recognized as an IB World School, they one of IB continuum schools in Hong Kong to offer IB programmes across 15 grade levels. Due to their continued growth, they are now seeking a high calibre Accountant to be part of their growing team.

Report directly to the Head of Finance, the Accountant will be actively involved in financial/management reports and analysis to management. He/she will ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures, provide quality analysis and evaluate the process continuously for improvement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle financial accounting function including daily financial transactions, reconciliations, month and year-end closing and general ledger entries.
• Coordinate with other functions to continuously improve process flow and achieve the best practice.
• Prepare monthly financial/management reports and analysis in a timely manner.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks.
• Future job rotation for other functions within the finance department to enhance job exposures.

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines.
• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ related experience in accounting and handling full set of financial statements is preferred.
• Confident and have an outgoing personality. A team player with great collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Great time management and organization skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS excel and word. 
• Experience in the SAP B1 accounting system would be an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• HKD390K ~ 455K per annum for the ideal candidate.
