Job Description

  • Coordinate & drive MI initiatives

Description

  • Plan and implement key business performance and managmenet information changes and initiatives so as to align with or support the strategies and direction of the Bank and the Group
  • Plan, manage and coordinate various MI changes and new initiatives from a user perspective, acting as the focal point of contact for Business Performance and Management Information Department particularly in respect of the Group's MI strategies and programmes
  • Coordinate and drive detailed tasks in connection with MI projects/initiatives so that they can be implemented on a timely basis to meet user requirements, escalating issues for resolution as appropriate or required
  • Coordinate inputs from different teams of the Department as well as various stakeholders
  • Enhance business continuity planning and execution so as to meet evolving requirements and enable the Department can operate smoothly even under contingency
  • Co-ordinate and manage various control related tasks for the Department such as Continuous Monitoring Plan

Profile

  • Solid experience in managing projects/initiatives in a large organisation showing strong understanding of key drivers and implementation levers
  • Good delivery skills and experience in delivering projects related to financial and management reporting and/or enhancement of computer systems
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and analysis, finance processes as well as finance systems, supported by relevant professional or academic qualifications
  • Experience in financial services industry with significant exposure to senior Finance and non-Finance staff
  • Ability to identify and articulate issues, but more importantly offer innovative and practical solutions, and drive through their execution in a collective and timely manner
  • Proven relationship management skills through dealing with all levels, with the confidence to interact with executive and senior management and make informed decisions
