Responsibilities

• Responsible for privacy related subjects. This includes the annual maturity assessment and coordinating the personal data inventory.
• Responsible for specialized areas such as fraud, ABC/COI, outsourcing, economic substance and the compliance manual.
• Staying abreast of relevant laws and regulations, proactively update relevant policies and provide trainings.
• Handle related reporting, business initiatives, trainings and participate in working groups.
• Disseminate regulatory circulars for Hong Kong and Bermuda to the relevant stakeholders.
• Perform the annual Systemic Integrity Risk Assessment.
• Back up for BaU AML activities as and when required.
• Provide independent oversight
• Work on ad-hoc tasks and other projects as when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-8 years' experience in Compliance or other 2nd line functions within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Privacy laws and regulations.
• Bachelor degree majoring in Accounting, Finance or Law.
• Team player, strong stakeholder management/ influencing skills, possesses business focused problem-solving skills.
• Master degree and specific privacy, AML, or IT certifications are desired
• Experience with Privacy, Risk Assessments, and conducting Compliance Trainings.
• Good English skills. Chinese skills are an advantage.
