Company Background

Our client is a well-established Hong Kong-listed conglomerate. They are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the Senior Financial Controller position. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and business colleagues to ensure efficient and effective financial controls and reporting relating to the business in preparing budgets and forecasts, review spend against budget and the KPIs. 

Responsibilities:

• Close business partnering with line of business' management for P&L management and business planning, support and challenge financial assumptions while identifying risks and opportunities
• Develop financial & investment strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting...etc
• Ensure timely and accurate group accounting as required for managerial and statutory accounting in line with Group processes and procedures.
• Drive improvements and efficiencies and raise financial awareness across the business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accounting or Finance with professional qualifications  
• 12 years + working experience in domestic /international with minimum 7 years of in-house accounting and financial management experience and Big 4 background
• Regional & PRC finance experience acquired from global MNCs or large conglomerates are preferred
• Articulate, logical, meticulous and attention to details and strong business acumen 
• Excellent Team leadership and people communication skill 
• Fluent in English, Chinese Cantonese, and Mandarin
