Client description
Our Client is a well-known Investment Bank with sizeable AUM size. Due to the Strong business growth, they are looking for a qualified candidate to join them as an Associate, Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily voucher inputs related to proprietary trading business and broker reconciliation
- Assist in month-end and year-end process
- Prepare internal reports for Head Office and internal reporting for financial oversight and analysis
- Assist in new accounting implementation projects (accounting rule setup) and system development (automation on daily posting)
- Manage internal and external audits
- Any other ad hoc assignments of accounting function
Requirements
- University graduate, preferably in accounting/ finance related disciplines
- Qualified accountant with CPA accounting qualifications or equivalent is preferred
- Securities firm and bank accounting experience is an advantage
- Familiar with any front-to-back trading system (e.g. Calypso, Imagine, Apex) is an advantage
- Good communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin
