Business Analyst

This position will be directly responsible for handling the company’s accounts, all financial inflow and outflow. Ideal candidates will have the ability to meticulously go through our books, do financial analysis and keep our cashflow in order. Success in this position requires exceptional mathematical acumen, a quick handle on new software, attention to detail; a willingness to experiment; the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment and a passion for helping others achieve results. This position is full-time and located in our Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities

• Preparing business reports and analysis for management
• Assisting in formulation of financial modelling and annual budgeting
• Monitoring the financial performance and performing forecast
• Liaising with internal parties to review progress status of budget utilization and conducting variance analysis
• Providing support and recommendation to sales and other parties to facilitate business decision making
• Building Business Case for new market (Philippines)
• Supporting ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned
• Participate in ad-hoc projects
• Well versed in MS Excel and Word
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related disciplines preferred
• 5 years of relevant working experience in business/financial analysis
• Strong in reasoning and analysis, good interpersonal and organizational skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and comfortable dealing with the unknown or ambiguous
• Independent, self-motivated, capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and willing to work overtime
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to effectively prioritise and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within a high-performing team
• Quick learner
