My client is a reputable and sizeable bank in Hong Kong, providing a wide range of services including commercial banking, retail and corporate banking services. They are now looking for a new Team Head to join their HKMA Regulatory Reporting department. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Head of department and lead the HKMA returns team of less than 6
• Oversee HKMA banking returns and surveys (excluding CAR returns)
• Lead system implementation or HKMA related projects and UAT work
• Manage any new HKMA regulatory reporting requirements as and when requested and ensure efficient communication and implementation of new guidelines
• Support any other ad hoc queries and projects related to regulatory reporting Required

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related
• Qualified Accountant
• At least 8+ years of experience in preparing and reviewing HKMA banking returns / regulatory reporting and financial reporting within banking industry, with experience from large retail/commercial banks
• Experience leading small or large teams 
• Strong communications/native level Cantonese and English speaking skills 
• Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills
