Responsibilities:

• lead a team of accounting staff;
• oversee the daily accounting operations for revenues, investment funds and income, donations and scholarship funds;
• perform treasury related duties;
• manage the bank accounts to monitor and maintain adequate level of working capital;
• manage the student tuition and other fees billing system;
• work closely with banks and service providers to implement sufficient channels to facilitate fee collection;
• perform period end closing and prepare timely regular and ad hoc financial reports;
• prepare statutory audit schedules and financial statements; and
• assist to prepare papers for Finance Committee and other committees as required.

Applicants should:

• possess a recognized university degree or above in accounting, finance or related discipline and with professional accounting qualification;
• be proficient in Microsoft Office software and computerised accounting system;
• have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• be a good team player, detailed-mindedwith good interpersonaland communication skills; and
• be able to work independently and efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Applicants with work experience in the tertiary education sector or hands-on experience in Oracle Financials System will be an advantage.
