Exciting Role for You

Our client is now looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports and quarterly forecasts, monitoring cashflow control and budget to ensure smooth running of their financial operations.

Job Scope

• Monitor processing of accounting transactions, internal control, cash flow control, budgeting, and prepare financial reports of the company
• Ensure smooth-running of invoice processing, vendor management, accounts payable and receivables, as well as inter-company transactions
• Review and monitor management reports and budget prepared by overseas offices
• Provide financial insight and expertise to improve internal operational workflow to ensure financial best practice
• Identify and investigate variances against actual vs forecast and vs budget or prior Forecast
• Consolidate and prepare monthly management reports and quarterly forecast
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Bachelors’ Degree holder in accounting or equivalent
• 6 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing
• Member of HKICPA/ACCA/CPAA or other relevant professional bodies
• Familiar with accounting standards and rules of HK
• Solid hands-on experience in internal controls, consolidation, financial and management reporting
• Excellent command in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Strong leadership, mature, independent, self-motivated, and good analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, and willing to accept new challenges
