Job Description
Our client, a US based real estate fund platform, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their booming platform.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/yearly management accounts for holding companies and portfolio companies for real estate fund in the company and consolidation level. Review the monthly management accounts for portfolio companies prepared by service provider/operating partner.
- Prepare monthly property management reports to include cash receipts, cash expenses, surpluses/deficits to monitor cashflow and assist to prepare documents for loan drawdown for projects.
- Prepare budget forecast in order to maintain sufficient fund for operating expenses.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support internal procedures for capital call. Provide support in acquisition and disposition of the portfolio, including structuring, bank account opening, loan financing and KYC procedures.
- Assist in financial due diligence and tax due diligence process and co-ordinate with service vendors and review due diligence documentations
- Liaise with external auditors on annual audit for portfolio companies and assist in tax compliance to co-ordinate /review Hong Kong profits tax return prepared by tax advisors
- Degree or above with major in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
- Professional qualification such as HKICPA, AICPA and ACCA, is preferred but not a must. Minimum of 4-6 years’ work experience
- Candidates with more experience can be considered as Senior Finance Manager, less experience will also be considered as Assistant Manager level
- Big 4 (real estate clients focus) / property accounting background candidates are welcome to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
