Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger functions, accounting entries for head office and bank reconciliation for group companies;
• Handle the period end and year end closing;
• Assist to provide timely and quality consolidated accounts and financial information to management;
• Assist in reviewing accounting policies, procedures and accounting system to achieve better current and future needs;
• Assist with the preparation of business plans, annual budgets and monthly forecasts;
• Liaise with external auditors and bankers;
• Assist in compliance with legal, tax and regulatory requirements, liaise with external auditors and bankers;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Accounting Clerk.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years relevant working experience;
• Good knowledge of internal control system and familiar with the Hong Kong accounting practices;
• Possess accounting sense of confidentiality, honesty and stability;
• Strong communication skills with other commercial department colleagues;
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PPT;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese and proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
