Senior Accountant/Accountant - Financial Reporting (Global Supply Chain; 5-day; HK$38K-HK$45K)

Our client is an International Supply Chain company with global business. They are seeking for a high caliber Senior Accountant/Accountant to join their finance team:

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts and the daily accounting operation including month / year-end closing, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial statement, financial analysis, manage accounts payable & receivable, daily and periodic income verification and posting;
• Perform monthly trend and business analysis and forecast 
• Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors in audit and review engagements
• Work on general ledger system related projects (including implementation of general ledger for subsidiaries, review subsidiaries ledgers for consistent usage)
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of investee companies
• Streamline the reporting workflows and procedure

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 5 years' experience in Financial Reporting
• Good understanding of month end processes and internal controls
• Excellent command of spoken and written English is required
• Responsible, independent, self-motivated, and able to handle tight timeline with strong problem-solving skills
