Assistant Accountant/Accountant (AR)

Our client is a global retailer, operating over 1,000 stores in 40+ countries. We assist them in looking for a cheerful and hands-on individual to join their Finance team as an (Assistant) Accountant.

• At least 4 years of hands-on AR experience
• Preferably from the retail industry
• Stable & growing business

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily operation in account receivable and debt collection
• Handle the accounts receivable operations, including sales reconciliation of Hong Kong stores and prepare turnover rent accruals
• Closely contact with internal/external customers to follow up on debt collection
• Collect lease information from the Business Development department and disseminate to local accounting teams and follow up security deposit refunds from landlords in the APAC countries
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks to be assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in handling Account Receivable, highly considered candidates from Retail companies
• Independent, hands-on, self-motivated, capable of handling tight timeline
• Well-versed in MS Office and experience in using Oracle is preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
