Job Description
The successful candidate will be mainly focusing on expense management, liquidity monitoring and projects review
Client Details
Well-established insurance firm with long history
Description
- Monitor and review local entities expenses, from Strategic Plan assumptions to monthly monitoring
- Review key assumptions / drivers on expenses during Strategic Plan
- Evaluate projects / large spend from cost vs benefit perspective and facilitate the approval process on timely basis
- Be responsible for high level review of data quality and consistency of the reporting
- Assist in the IFRS transition projects by understanding and reviewing the key drivers
- Work with local entities and Regional Risk Management on Liquidity Risk Report Half-year and Year-end
Profile
- Degree holder with professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant)
- Strong in finance and accounting discipline
- Experience in financial industry especially insurance is preferred
- IFRS 17 knowledge is favourable
- Good proficiency in English & Putonghua
