Responsibilities:

• Perform payment control according to relevant Bank’s policies or procedure manuals
• Check and review vouchers and entries prepared by payment team and posting to general ledger
• Ensure proper maintenance and record-keeping of fixed assets system and account payable system
• Monitor reconciliation on fixed assets movements and payment process to ensure relevant accounting control procedures are in place
• Maintain and assist in the development of accounting systems and relevant procedures
• Prepare ad-hoc accounting reports for management
• Liaise with various departments and participate in task force teams on system projects with focus on payment process workflow. 
• Provide coaching and training to subordinates as required

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of control and Bank’s accounting polices and procedures
• Proficiency in ORACLE, Microsoft office (e.g. Excel and Access)
• Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years experience in financial accounting preferably in banking industry
