Job Description

• Develop and review the annual internal audit plan to ensure that effective execution of the audit strategy agreed with Audit Committee
• Review audit reports and ensure timely reporting to the Audit Committee of causes for non-compliance and provide recommendations to enhance the financial reporting and controls, and operating policies and procedures
• Perform audit works according to set scope including plan preparation, workpapers, findings, and associated reports
• Work with business risk and second line functions to identify and control various kinds of potential or existing risks, and timely escalate to the superior and communicate with the relevant units, formulate and follow up on the corrective measures as appropriate
• According to the accepted recommendations, evaluate the effectiveness and timeliness of plans or actions taken by management to correct identified weaknesses to assure satisfactory disposition
• Keep abreast of any changes to relevant local laws, rules or regulations, the guiding principle, the relevant risk management policies and processes, as well as all policies and procedure of the Company
• Liaise with Internal Audit Department from key shareholders and audit firms performing external audits
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in Accounting / Finance / Business Management or related disciplines
• Candidate with professional certification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in Pension and Fund industry is preferred
• Familiar with MPF and SFC regulations is preferred
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Detail-minded with multi-tasking capabilities, good communication and interpersonal skills
