Role Purpose

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure;
• Prepare an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for the Company and group reporting;
• Ensure assigned monthly and quarterly control compliance activities for the Company are performed in a timely and accurate manner;
• Coordinate with various parties on system implementation and procedures improvement;
• Support ad hoc projects when required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant discipline;
• 3 years of relevant accounting working experience in listed Hong Kong or multinational corporation;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required;
• Independent and passionate self-starter;
• Positive in attitude and assertive;
• Experience in the airline, hospitality, logistics and/or consumer goods industries is an advantage;
• Fresh graduate/ applicants with less experience would also be considered as Officer, Financial Reporting.

Please note that with effect from 1 June 2022 onwards, all HK Express employees and contractors who work in our premises in Hong Kong must have received a third dose of COVID 19 vaccine.  Being tested regularly for COVID-19 is not an option. Consideration will be given to those who are unable to get vaccinated for valid medical reasons.
