Accountant (4 to 6 months contract)

The Finance team play a vital role in the management of accounting, risk, and compliance functions spanning statutory, regulatory, and management reporting, tax planning, reconciliations, daily profit and loss management, and balance sheet management. The team also prepare reports for management covering treasury and exposure, risk, compliance, and audit.

We are looking for a qualified accountant to join our Hong Kong office to cover maternity leave absence. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is hands-on and provides excellent exposure to accounting practices and taxation rules across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in the preparation of group management accounts and monthly regulatory reports
• Liaise with external accountants for monthly and year-end financials and tax returns
• Tax computations and corporate tax returns preparation
• Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as and when required
