Reporting to Senior Vice President – Group Finance, this position plays a strategic role in the overall management of the organization and will provide leadership to the Finance function. He / She will be responsible for developing the organization’s financial strategy, stewardship of financial assets cum resources and ensuring that the financial and operational assets are properly deployed. He / She will provide both operational and programmatic support to the organization. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, budget management, costs, negotiations and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and be responsible for all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization.
• Lead the annual financial budgets and prepare the operating budget. Ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support and compliance to all programmatic requirements.
• Drive / develop the Standard operating processes, ensure adherence of the same and adopt best practices.
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting and consolidation and reporting of the financials. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense, balance sheet reports etc..
• Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization and prevent leakages. Conduct internal audits.
• Ensure compliance of rules / governance of financial reporting.
• Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances as per guidelines of the statutory authorities and legal framework. Ensure filling of all returns to all government and statutory authorities per guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with all key external stakeholders.
• Ensure high level of motivation in the Finance Team

The ideal candidate should possess the below attributes:

• Qualified accountant with Big 4 trained background.
• Minimum 10 years’ of experience in Finance and Accounting, with great credentials in the manufacturing sector will be preferred.
• Hands on experience with accounting software and possess strong data processing knowledge.
• Solid understanding of accounting process, knowledge of GAAP, SOX and cash management.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and taxation requirements in different countries in Asia.
• Strategic leadership, drive for results and management skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
• High level of integrity.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and communication skills.
