Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Objectives

Head of Digital Transformation involves in transforming the way of work driven by Risk Management Group (RMG), define the strategy and orchestrates Innovation & technology to deliver high-profile FinTech projects across the organization. This involves thinking through the overall journey, how they capture, manage and segment risk, and augment this with strategic partnerships including business, regulator, government, and senior management. This is a solid opportunity to play a crucial role in driving the Transformation journey that ensures future proof banking.

Responsibilities

• Drive Digital Transformation strategy, roadmap and bank architecture to shape the future business and operation
• Inspire RMG by working closely with product/business owner to deliver end to end product / service with the use of alternative data analytics to complement decision making capabilities and collaborate with business lines to drive profitability strategy & Roadmap
• Act as a leader and advocate to influence peers for collaboration within the project across internal / external innovation partners and business stakeholders to identify new business opportunities with Data Driven Operating Model to generate insights from prescriptive methodology and feedback for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional business management to drive and experiment use of RegTech product to identify unknown risk and upskills Risk management officers.
• Be the subject matter expert in applying advanced analytics on data/contents such as machine learning predictive models, pattern recognition, NLP etc, to deliver tangible business outcome

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines and/or professional banking qualification preferable.
• An excellent understanding of the current digital landscape, from customer experience, journey management and design, fostered within either a Financial Services, Telecoms, Retail, or similar industry.
• Solid Experience in defining and driving strategy with proven track records to drive and deliver analytics vision, innovation, and transformation for impactful business results, with at least 15 years’ experience in leader positions
• Excellent thought leadership and problem solving skills underpinned via scenarios based mindset
• Professional stakeholder management and influence skills with the ability to build up long-term trust based relationship with all levels and fostering customers and stakeholders’ engagement
• Strong creativity and curiosity with prove track records on identifying the root cause of the issues and also think out of the box with creative ideas
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
