Senior / Junior Tax Consultant (Hong Kong Corporate Tax and Advisory)

Responsibilities: -

•          Work with a team of tax professionals on a variety of Hong Kong and cross-border tax advisory projects, such as tax planning, due diligence, restructuring, merger and acquisitions, pre-IPO planning, etc.
•          Perform Hong Kong tax compliance work for local and multinational clients, including corporations and partnerships.
•          Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department and handle tax enquiries.
•          Participate in preparing transfer pricing documentation, including local files, master files and country-by-country reports.
•          Collaborate with PKF overseas member firms in various countries (e.g. Australia, China, UK, USA, etc.) in various cross-border tax assignments.
•          Work effectively as a team member and support team leaders to achieve goals.
•          Support firm-wide and team-specific initiatives as well as other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements: -

•          A bachelor’s degree holder in accountancy, finance, economics or related fields.
•          An associate member or member of HKICPA/ACCA/CPAA or other professional accounting bodies.
•          1 to 4 years of experience in the relevant tax sector gained in a professional consulting environment.
•          Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
•          Possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills and computer literacy.
  
  Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Junior Tax Consultant.
