Job Description

We are looking for a Part Time - Operations - eCommerce Merchandiser / Buyer to help us with managing the Supplier and Logistics side of the business. This person will be responsible for daily orders across all websites and marketplaces. JWE utilizes shipping software and customized order sheet program to automatically generate daily order. This person needs to be attention to details and double check to ensure all orders are correct and ensure parcels are delivered according to company deadline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily ordering with suppliers
• Maintaining accurate material cost databases
• Supplier sourcing and negotiation, supplier comparison. Make test orders for samples and timely management for all orders and deliveries.
• Calculates estimated costs associated with the shipping/delivery function and recommends appropriate alternatives.
• Source products from different platforms, such as Alibaba.com/1688.
• Follow up with production and quality control
• Maintains various records.
• Research and source new products
• Other tasks and new projects as required

• Tertiary education in Business / Office Admin/ Merchandising/ Sourcing related 
• At least 2 years experience of sourcing and merchandising
• Familiar in MS Office usage, i.e. excel, word.
• Attention to detail, organised, open-minded, self-motivated.
• Able to do routine and repetitive tasks, seeking for stable work style
• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skill in both English and Mandarin.
• 5 days work week, 10:30am-5:30pm (Mon to Friday) - Flexible to Discuss
