Job Description
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is seeking a high calibre candidate to join our Human Resources Department.
Reporting to Section Head, Human Resources, the role holder will be responsible for:
- Managing all-rounded functional HR areas including recruitment and selection, performance management, staff exit management, employee compensation, resources planning, HR systems and other HR initiatives
- Partnering closely with various departments in every stage of recruitment activities, including but not limited to developing job descriptions and specifications, etc.
- Executing effectively the end-to-end talent acquisition and selection process, including candidate sourcing, interview arrangement, compensation offer/ negotiation, on-boarding arrangement, etc.
- Managing day-to-day HR operations, assisting Section Head in formulating and implementing HR policies and strategies that align to organizational objectives of HKTDC
- Managing annual HR activities and exercises such as performance appraisal, budget estimates, promotion review, annual salary review, etc.
- Acting as a trusted HR partner to line departments and providing professional advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and people matters
- Coaching HR Officers in the team
- Handling any other ad-hoc projects as assigned by Section Head
Requirements:
- University graduate or equivalent, preferably in the related disciplines
- A minimum of 10 years’ relevant working experience, preferably with sizable organisations. The ideal candidate should be skilled in talent acquisition and possess ample experience in other HR functions such as compensation management, performance management, staff relations, HR Information Systems and other workflows
- Experience in leading a small team
- Knowledge in HR support shared services and/or HR business partnership is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with different levels of employees
- Resourceful and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethics with high degree of integrity
- Service-oriented, attentive to details with a “can-do” attitude
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Have met the English Language proficiency requirements of Level 4 or above in HKDSEE or Grade C or above in HKCEE, or equivalent
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Human Resources Manager.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
