Job Description
The Department
The Farrier Services Department provides dedicated farriery services to all race horses at the Shatin Racecourse and the Conghua Racecourse as well as all equestrian horses at the Beas River Equestrian Centre, Public Riding Schools, and Private Riding Schools in Hong Kong. The team is committed to provide a skilled local workforce in both Hong Kong and Conghua through an extensive 51-month HKCAAVQ-accredited Farrier Training Program.
The job holder assists with updating Farrier Training Program course material, creating training aids and other new projects for the Farrier Services Department.
The Job
You will:
- Assists with creating audio-visuals for sharing and enhancing farriery knowledge and promoting animal welfare
- Implements changes and assists with writing/formatting of new course resources
- Uploads and maintains the accredited programs on the Club's Learning Management System
- Provides support for data mining and relevant statistical reports
- Assists with the development and improvement of the farriery work record system (VMIS)
- Performs other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
About You
You should have:
- degree or above
- At least 1-2 years of working experience, preferably in a sizeable company
- Relevant experience in Graphic/Digital Design or creating educational audio-visuals would be desirable
- Hands-on experience in using photo/video editing software/apps and PC applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access
- Knowledge in video shooting, editing and animation would be advantage
- Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent in Mandarin
Terms of Employment
Pay-rate:
HK$76 per hour
Working Schedule: 2-3 days per week*
*Actual working hours would depend on operational needs.
