Job Description
Purpose of the Role
As part of HKSTP’s Human Resources Division, the InnoAcademy team nurtures young talent to join Hong Kong’s innovation and technology (I&T) ecosystem. Our vision is to develop Hong Kong into a global I&T talent hub that draws Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas I&T talent.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is passionate about contributing to Hong Kong’s I&T development to join our growing team. He/she will lead and drive the team to ideate, plan and implement talent programmes for graduates, internship and co-op programmes. The goal is to place young talent of diverse backgrounds and experiences into job and internship opportunities at HKSTP’s partner companies.
The Position
- Plan, oversee and implement talent programmes for tertiary students and graduates
- Build partnerships with HKSTP’s partner companies and tertiary institutions, develop publicity plans, recruit and place participants into jobs and internships, manage programme logistics, liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Prepare and manage budgets of talent programmes
- Monitor the implementation of talent programmes, collect feedback from stakeholders, analyze programme effectiveness, and identify areas of improvement
- Lead and support other HR projects as assigned by supervisors
The Candidate
- Bachelor degree any discipline preferably in HR Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience in programme administration, higher education, youth development, preferably in the I&T sector.
- Able to think strategically and start something from scratch, while also strong in project planning and execution in a fast-paced environment, to deliver solid results
- A good team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive network within the I&T and/or tertiary education sectors in the Mainland / overseas will be a definite advantage
- Track record of building rapport with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
