Job Description

Job Responsibilities

As part of our HR Transformation vision of staying agile for future business needs through optimising organisation effectiveness and employee experience, this role will manage HR analytics and data reporting capabilities, with an emphasis on providing input on improving data sources and interpreting available data to help drive strategic decision. The role will also act as a lead in identifying and executing ideas on standardising, digitising, and thereby streamlining HR-related processes. In the long term, this role will be accountable for leading the definition and maintenance of the future HCM (Human Capital Management) system architecture for the Group HR technology roadmap.

HR Process Optimisation and Analytics

  • Be the HR analytics champion. Gather and compile HR data and metrics from various sources including HRIS and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, performance cycles, salary reviews, exit interviews, employment records, market statistics, and competitors’ practices to help make well-informed decisions
  • Act as a lead in identifying and executing ideas on digitising, streamlining, and standardising HR processes (e.g. Employee Experience, Rewards, and Performance) by developing dashboards, systems, and digitisation tools (e.g. e-Forms, an in-house chatbot answering HR-related queries from employees, e-sign, e-filing, tools for re-onboarding process and talent management, etc.)
  • Design and implement approaches and methods to source, analyse, and interpret HR related data
  • Understand HR data and enable automated reports and dashboards that tell compelling insights
  • Develop and present insights from operational HR data to relevant parties
  • Deploy appropriate HR reporting and BI Tools for the business
  • Enable solutions which cut across the entire employee lifecycle, in alignment with HR and business priorities and key stakeholder requirements
  • Perform data validation to ensure a high level of format consistency, completeness, and accuracy

HR Technology (HCM / HR Systems) Development (2nd priority of the role in the current work phase)

  • Manage the overall architecture of HR system development
  • Manage the translation of HR and business needs into HR technology/systems development, from needs analysis, defining feature requirements, developing technology with vendors, technology testing, data migration, system deployment, and maintenance
  • Lead data integration and mapping process, to ensure security, end-user access and data integrity across all HR platforms
  • Contribute to technical discussions and enhancement initiatives related to improving customer experience, usability, and latest technologies
  • Automate people data feeds among HR systems and visualisation tools
  • Maintain a pulse on user feedback and provides prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges to improve the user experience
  • Set and maintain HR system development guidelines, administration rules, and system usage documentation
  • Monitor HR systems’ issue logs and KPIs and manages release cycles and updates, supporting day-to-day operations of HR Technology
  • Ensure HR systems comply with relevant employment laws, rules and regulations of regulatory bodies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, Statistics or Quantitative Analysis, or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in relevant experience
  • Possess experience in completion of one full implementation of an HRIS/HCM solution preferred
  • Deep understanding of how HR analytics, process optimisation and system development can support HR objectives and needs
  • Analytical and creative, experienced in troubleshooting across a range of systems
  • Understanding of software development processes and product management activities
  • Positive towards challenges; able to lead change with strong project management skills
  • Attention to details and dealing with confidential information with complete discretion
  • Experienced in gathering input and feedback from various stakeholders in a matrix organisation to assess the viability and impact of potential programs
  • Experienced in partnering with cross-border and multi-cultural teams
  • Good communication skills
  • Feel comfortable to work both independently and as a team player
  • Must-have skills - MS Excel, HCM development, data visualisation tools, e.g. Power BI/Tableau
  • Preferable skills - MS PowerPoint
  • Fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - both verbal and written
