Job Description
The school is seeking to appoint a Receptionist to join our school office administration team. The post holder will need to undertake reception duty and provide relevant secretarial and administrative support.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and offers may be extended prior to the job closing date.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception duty
- Receive and greet visitors warmly and provide them with the appropriate information and assistance;
- Answer telephone calls courteously, distribute messages, handle enquiries and follow up;
- Handle mail delivery, and arrange distribution efficiently;
- Manage diaries and scheduling appointments;
- Procure and maintain inventory of office supplies; maintain records & files;
- Prepare and distribute memos, reports and forms.
Other duties
- Assist in supply teacher arrangements;
- Organise school counsellor schedule;
- Assist in publishing school newsletters;
- Perform any other administrative duties as and when assigned by Line Managers.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years administrative and secretarial experience preferred, fresh graduate is also welcome;
- Strong customer service and attentive to detail;
- Excellent telephone manner;
- Good command of English; Cantonese and Mandarin are desirable but not mandatory;
- Competent office administration skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace;
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure with initiative and self motivation.
