Job Description
Human Resources Office
The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing human resources services to Faculties / Departments / Offices / Centres which include all matters related to staff recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, staff training and development, staff records and system management, etc.; (b) assisting in the formulation and review of human resources policies and procedures in the responsible subject areas to meet the changing needs and expectations of both internal and external clients; (c) leading a support team in providing efficient and effective one-stop human resources service to Faculties / Departments / Offices / Centres; (d) compiling various management information reports and staff data; and (e) providing administrative and secretarial support to committees. The appointment will be for a period of 1 year.
Applicants should have a good university degree with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in human resources management, preferably gained in the tertiary education institutions or public/quasi-public organizations; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Applicants should also be a team player, attentive to details and able to work independently. Applicants with less working experience may be considered for the post of Human Resources Officer.
