Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports to Head of People Engagement and Communications - ODHR, Asia Pacific
  • Manages project plan - actively planning, coordinate, update and monitor all project activities (for the related in-scope projects) against planned timelines. Pro-actively calls out risks, escalates issues and suggests mitigation steps to achieving planned milestones.
  • Leads regular project update meetings. Responsible for reporting project status and escalating risks to project management in the Steering Committee meetings.
  • Anticipates and identifies issues and risks related to the project and proposes feasible solutions/ mitigation steps where necessary. Manages overall project issue and risk logs and facilitates required discussions to address these risks/issues.
  • Collaborates closely with the Global project team, Regional ODHR Team, local market teams, Regional Technology & Digital Services (TDS) and vendors to deliver effective project implementation.
  • Works with all project team members to plan and execute technical and integration testing activities, change management exercise and BAU target operating model.
  • Ensure vendors deliver the expected project deliverables upon agreed timelines.
  • Actively manages project scope, resources, and budget. Provides timely updates on project budget status.
  • Drive project management best practices and project governance throughout the life-cycle of the project, including close-out. Work closely with ODHR PMO to continuously refine best practices.

Academic/Professional Qualifications

  • Degree holders or above, major in Human Resources preferable
  • PMP certified preferred
  • At least 8-10 years' work experience as a Project Manager for Global/ Regional/ Multi-countries initiatives, preferably related to regional/ global systems deployment and HR processes
  • Experienced in managing end-to-end project life cycles and leading projects involving multiple internal/ external, local/ global stakeholders
  • Regional/local experience with an understanding of cultural differences across markets
  • Experience in deploying HR/IT intranet systems in a Global or Regional capacity is preferred but not a must
  • Experience working with change and communications teams on project launch plans
  • Experience in managing outsourcing and transition

Work Experience

  • Experience in managing and working with external vendors/ consultants
  • Experience in retail, hospitality or luxury retail desired
  • Solid project management experience with advanced analytical ability, good judgment, and strong attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of technology (general) level of initiative and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills oven multi-tasking skills and desire to resolve problems and understand users' needs
  • Effective communication, engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Result Driven / Follow-through - the ability to mediate differences and facilitate constructive discussions to ensure project goals are achieved

  • Strong fluency in English and Mandarin
