AFS Intercultural Exchanges is the Hong Kong partner of a global non-profit organization founded in 1947 and operating in more than 50 countries to provide intercultural experiences. Every year AFS Hong Kong hosts and sends over 200 participants on its flagship year-long home stay exchange for secondary students to over 30 countries. Although staff-run, AFS relies on a global network of tens of thousands of alumni, families, and other volunteers to deliver the AFS experience, which has transformed lives of more than 500,000 participants over 60 years.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Program Manager, the appointee will be responsible for:

• The administration of AFS Exchange Programs;
• Handling the program inquiries, recruitment, selection, visa arrangement and travel logistics;
• Organize seminar, orientations, training, workshops and activities, which can be during evenings and weekends;
• Daily communication with oversea partners, local school teachers, parents, students and volunteers.

Requirements:

• A recognized degree with at least 2 years of working exchange in NGOs/Education sector, also welcome fresh graduate;
• Passionate in NGO and love to work with youth;
• High self-motivation and ability to manage coordination work;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Able to work independently and during non-office hours as required
• Immediately availability is highly desirable.
