Our client provides electrical and mechanical services for enhancing the safety and quality of life of Hong Kong. They are currently inviting high-caliber candidates to join as: 

Temporary Publicity Assistant (11-month contract, secondment by Flex Consultancy Limited)

Responsibilities:

• To assist in coordination, promotion, and implementation of engagement programmes and publicity works initiated by VMRU for promoting the Voluntary Registration Schemes of Vehicle Mechanics and Vehicle Maintenance Workshops (outdoor work may be required);
• To provide daily clerical and administrative support to related EMSD's officers;
• To provide editorial support for related EMSD's officers, e.g. on publications, collaterals and other promotion materials (e.g. VM Newsletter):
• To assist in project and coordinate with event contractors and other relevant parties (e.g. webinars for continuing professional development, paper-based quiz for vehicle mechanics);
• To prepare project report, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, PowerPoint presentation, and project schedule, etc
• To handle other duties as assigned by EMSD's officers

Requirements:

• Have received at least 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
• Accredited Bachelor Degree of university or above in communication, marketing, public relations, media, event managements, or other equivalent fields.
• At least 1 years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, media, social media management, copywriting and/or event management.
• Achieved Level 2 / Grade E or above in English and Chinese languages in HKCEE / HKDSE, or equivalent.
• Familiar with MS Office, with English and Chinese word processing speed at 30 wpm or more.
• Immediate availability preferred.
