Key duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Plan, deliver and manage training courses including DG regulations and application trainings. 
• Conduct regular regional Operations reviews (audit type) at AP Hubs, Gateways and Service Centers
• Provide the Network with regional regulatory updates and variation procedures
• Manage account approval process and shipment approval for restricted commodities shipments
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and compliant handling of Restricted Commodities
• Ensure incidents are appropriately investigated, reported and followed up with corrective and preventive action
• Guide, support and influence restricted commodities related activities across AP
• Be a Partner to Network Operators and Provide Relevant Input to CAL Operators
• Provide technical expertise and on-the-ground support in relation to network operation matters

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• 7 years in the air transport and / or air express industry
• Network Control Group / Hubs / Gateways environment experience will be advantageous
• Knowledge of Airside and Airline standards, including those relating to cargo handling, aircraft loading and ramp operations
• In-depth knowledge of regulations and procedures relating to the transport of Restricted Commodities by air
• Full understanding of IATA DGR requirements
• Strong relationship skills and able to influence internal and external parties including suppliers, joint venture partners, industry groups, competitors, governments
• Strong project management skills, and ability to build and lead a line and functional team 
• Ability to understand the key issues in complex situations and provide solutions
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English, with Asian language skills an advantage
