The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining and overseeing company OSH policies and safety manuals/guidelines in the area of occupational safety.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures
• Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and adhering to legal guidelines
• Investigate accidents and incidents to give advice on immediate and prevention measures
• Conduct accident prevention training and safety related training
• Inspect for unsafe workplace conditions
• Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies
• Suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues

Requirements:

• Holder of a recognized university degree and/or professional diploma in Health and Safety or related discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in similar positions, preferably in property management/ construction
  
• Registered Safety Officer and Registered Safety Auditor
• Qualified Trainer for Mandatory Safety Training and Confined Space Training
• Qualified First-aider and Automatic External Defibrillator operator is preferred
• Possession of valid HK Driving License of Class 1 is preferred
• Strong sense of safety awareness
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Safety Manager
